How to Cancel Paramount+
Quick answer
You can usually cancel Paramount+ from the same place where you signed up. If you subscribed directly through Paramount+, cancel from your Paramount+ account. If you subscribed through Apple, Google Play, Roku, Amazon Prime Video Channels, or another billing provider, you usually need to cancel through that provider instead. Paramount+’s own help page says the cancellation path depends on how you subscribed.
Deleting the Paramount+ app does not cancel your subscription. It only removes the app from your device.
Before you cancel Paramount+
Before you start clicking around, check who is billing you. This matters because the Paramount+ app may not control your subscription.
Look for:
The charge name on your card statement
A receipt from Paramount+, Apple, Google Play, Roku, Amazon, or PayPal
The account email you used to sign up
Your renewal date
Whether you signed up through a free trial, bundle, device, or app store
Common billing paths include:
If your statement says… You may need to cancel through…
Paramount+ or CBS Interactive Paramount+ directly Apple.com/Bill Apple subscriptions Google Play Google Play subscriptions Roku or Roku for Paramount+ Roku Amazon / Prime Video Channels Amazon PayPal PayPal automatic payments
If you do not see Paramount+ listed in one place, check the others before assuming it is canceled.

Go to the Paramount+ website.
Sign in to your account.
Select your profile or account icon.
Go to Account.
Look for your subscription or billing section.

Go to Amazon.

What if Paramount+ came with Walmart+ or another bundle?
This is where cancellation can get confusing.
If Paramount+ is included as a benefit through another membership, you may not have a separate Paramount+ subscription to cancel. You may need to manage the parent membership instead.
Check:
The original signup email.
Your Walmart+, mobile carrier, cable provider, or bundle account.
Whether Paramount+ appears as a paid subscription or a membership benefit.
Whether canceling Paramount+ separately is even available.
Be careful here: canceling the parent membership may remove more than just Paramount+.
Common Paramount+ cancellation roadblocks
“The app says to cancel somewhere else”
That usually means Paramount+ is not your billing provider. Check Apple, Google Play, Roku, Amazon, PayPal, or the account where you originally signed up.
“I deleted the app but I’m still being charged”
Deleting the app does not stop billing. You need to cancel the subscription itself.
“I can still watch after canceling”
That may be normal. Many streaming subscriptions stay active until the end of the billing period.
“I cannot find Paramount+ in my subscriptions”
Check whether you are signed into the right Apple ID, Google account, Roku account, Amazon account, or Paramount+ account. Family members’ accounts can also be the hidden billing source.
“I only see a bundle, not Paramount+”
If Paramount+ came through another membership or promotion, you may need to manage that larger membership instead of Paramount+ directly.
“I got a discount offer before canceling”
That is a retention flow. It might be worth taking if you still want the service, but it is not the same as canceling. Keep going if your goal is to stop billing.
How to confirm Paramount+ is canceled
Before you close the tab, look for proof.
Confirm at least one of these:
A cancellation confirmation email
A subscription status that says canceled
An expiration date instead of a renewal date
Apple, Google Play, Roku, or Amazon showing the subscription as canceled
A screenshot of the final confirmation page
Save the proof. A screenshot is boring until you need it.
What to do if Paramount+ charges you after cancellation
Check the exact charge name on your bank or card statement.
Match the charge to the billing provider: Paramount+, Apple, Google Play, Roku, Amazon, PayPal, or another company.
Search your email for “Paramount+,” “receipt,” “renewal,” “Apple,” “Google Play,” “Roku,” and “Amazon.”
Make sure you canceled the correct account.
Contact the billing provider that processed the charge.
Ask whether the charge is eligible for a refund.
Save screenshots, emails, and support chat transcripts.
Contact your card provider if the charge appears unauthorized or the billing provider cannot resolve it.
Do not assume Paramount+ can refund a charge processed by Apple, Google Play, Roku, Amazon, or another third party. The company that billed you usually controls the cancellation and refund path.
The Not-Subscribed note
Paramount+ is a good example of billing-provider confusion. The streaming app is where you watch, but it may not be where you cancel. Apple, Google Play, Roku, Amazon, PayPal, a bundle partner, or Paramount+ itself could be the actual billing source.
That extra layer creates cancellation friction. Before canceling any streaming service, find the biller first. The real cancel button usually lives there.
